  • The Evergreen Artists Association (EAA) offers a $1,750 scholarship to one graduating high school senior who plans to major or minor in the Visual Arts in the upcoming fall semester. The scholarship award is applied toward tuition at the school the winning student attends in the fall following graduation. The EAA Scholarship is strictly merit-based. The applicant must live in the mountain areas of the foothills, including Evergreen, Clear Creek County, Gilpin County, and Park County of Colorado. The submitted portfolio will be juried based on imagination, originality, skillful execution, and professional presentation. Students must submit 8-10 images of their best work. Artwork must be labeled with a name and an image number. Image numbers will coincide with descriptions in the online registration form. Please describe the process used in the artwork, the medium, and the inspiration. All two- and three-dimensional media artworks are eligible. We encourage students to submit photographs of work created in various media in order to provide the jurors with a comprehensive view of the student's work. Images, in JPG format.
