Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. The Claire Yost Memorial Scholarship is offered to graduating seniors from Arthur Hill High School, where she was a teacher and counselor. Applicants must be a graduating senior from Arthur Hill High School and has been identified as a "turnaround" student by AHHS staff; have a minimum 2.5 GPA during the last two semesters at AHHS, and pursuing an undergraduate, associates, or vocational degree via full-time enrollment at a Michigan college or university.
