Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. In 1926, Margaret Fisher established a scholarship with the United Advisory Scholarship Commission in 1926 in the name of her late husband, E.C.Fisher, a former member of the Saginaw Board of Education. To be eligible for the United Advisory Scholarship Commission Scholarship - E.C. Fisher Scholarship, applicants must be a graduating senior from a Saginaw Public School, reside in the Saginaw Public School District, and be pursing a degree in Engineering.
