I am a Senior in Highschool as has been brought up in the Christian school my whole life. I started running when I was 7 years old and fell in love with it. I ran cross-country and track throughout high school and middle school and it has shaped and changed who I am in many ways. Taught me determination, patience and self control.

As a Senior in high school, I have played baseball most of my life. Being an athlete has helped me gain confidence in myself and to achieve greater leadership skills. I attended Catholic school from kindergarten through 8th grade and I feel that my Christian education provided me with the spiritual foundation needed to navigate high school. I thank God and my parents for the opportunities offered to me. This scholarship is unique because it not only focuses on athletes but athletes with a purpose!

I'm only a freshman in high school, but I love the fact that there are organizations like this that support Christian athletes like myself to strive to be better athletes. This is an amazing opportunity for those of us that are taking a walk of faith with God.

I am a Junior in Pike high school. I love to play soccer I enjoy playing soccer and making an effort on being better everyday. I would love to win this scholarship. I know that my parents can’t afford much to have a lot money to help me out through college.

Noah R  on 1/16/2020 5:41:57 PM

This scholarship stood out to me as a great opportunity to earn money for college. I gladly appreciate organizations like "Playing With A Purpose" that hand out scholarships for students that are in need of financial aid. As a Christian athlete, I would love to be granted this scholarship because I believe that I meet the criteria provided. I am optimistic about every day that God gives us, and I am always looking to spread the thankfulness that should be given in this world. I play varsity basketball and varsity soccer. I thank God for blessing me with good health before I compete in any contest. As I love the sports that I play, I would eventually like to become a coach for the future generations. I would also like to work as a Criminal investigator after I finish college.

I am a High School Senior having attended Catholic schools my entire educational career. I am aware of the costs that my parents have taken on for me to be educated in this environment. For that I am beyond grateful. I am looking to help supplement the cost of college while continuing to advance my faith and pursue a career in Sports Management. I will be attending Siena Heights University and playing soccer for the "Saints". This scholarship would help provide additional assistance for the cost of my education.

This scholarship would mean so much to me. I am a Christian girl, a junior in high school and participate in high school cheerleading as of right now. My sophomore year of high school I did swim, cheer, and track. So far, I have a 3.7 GPA and school is a very important part of my life. I love being involved and active in my school. This scholarship would help me accomplish my goal and dream for going to a great college because it is very expensive. Thank you for helping fellow Christians get into college.

Peyton K  on 1/3/2020 6:27:35 AM

This scholarship would mean the world to me. It is my first year in high school but I am already wanting to save for college, because of how expensive it is. I am a fellow Christian and participate in high school cheer and competitive dance. I so far have a GPA of a 4.7, and school is very important to me. If I got this scholarship it would allow for me to accomplish my dream of going to an amazing college! Thank you for supporting Jesus with the hope of sending many to college
