  • Scholarship Description
  • The Reno Rodeo Foundation distributes scholarships annually. All interested applicants are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility requirements and the application guidelines before applying. The number of scholarship recipients will vary based on the number of qualified applications received and the funding designated by the Reno Rodeo Foundation Board of Trustees.

    A Reno Rodeo Foundation Scholarship award is a minimum of $1,000 for the selected students to support the upcoming academic school year. Applicants must have graduated from a Northern Nevada high school with a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Note: the following counties shall not be considered Northern Nevada: Clark, Lincoln, and Esmeralda. Students must declare a major at an accredited Nevada College or University or at an out-of-state accredited College or University if the declared major is not offered in Nevada.
