Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. Applicants of the Saginaw Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Scholarship must be a high school senior, with a 2.5 GPA, pursuing an undergraduate degree full-time at a two or four-year Michigan college or university. Must be a resident of Great Lakes Bay Region (Arenac, Bay, Huron, Iosco, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac, or Tuscola County). Residency requirement doesn't apply if the student's parent or legal guardian is a SAIFA (formerly SALU) member. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
