Tempe Diablos Charities, Inc., is pleased to announce the availability of The Tempe Diablos Scholarship. The Tempe Diablos are involved in promoting excellence among Tempe’s top high school students and helping young adults in taking steps to improve their opportunities and the communities in which they live. This scholarship may be renewable for 7 consecutive semesters if all criteria are maintained and funding is available. Students must re-apply each year.
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must: be a senior in high school and plan to graduate from a publicly funded accredited high school; be admitted as a full-time student (24 credit hours per academic year) at a Maricopa County college or university; show extracurricular involvement in their school and/or community; strong leadership abilities and communication skills; and have either a 3.0 GPA, be in the top 25% of their graduating class, or have an SAT score of 1040 or an ACT of 22.
