  • Scholarship Description
  • The GFWC WCSC Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 to support the continuing education of Washington County women. Each year the Club awards scholarships that range from hundreds to thousands of dollars to selected applicants. Applicants must be women of at least age 19 with a high school diploma or GED, be a resident of Washington County, RI, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled, or accepted, in an accredited educational program and working toward a first degree (associate or bachelor's) or in a career/vocational training or certificate program. Preference will be given to the applicant who is the primary support for herself or herself and dependents. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
