  • If you are considering going to school, and are a Meijer team member or a child of a Meijer team member, consider applying for the Fred & Lena Meijer Scholarship - you could receive one of two $10,000 awards or one of numerous $4,000 awards. In order to apply, you must be a current Meijer team member; or a dependent child (natural, legally adopted, or step-child) of a current/former Meijer Team Member with a minimum of one year's employment. An Iowa Carpenter sent 33 Iowan students he never met to college with the $3 million he had in savings. Prior to his death in 2005, Dale Schroeder told his attorney that he wanted to direct his will money towards sending underprivileged students to college.
