  • Scholarship Description
  • The Marcus Foster Education Institute Scholarship application is open to San Francisco Bay Area (CA) high school seniors in the Oakland Unified School District, the Pleasanton Unified School District, children of employees of the Port of Oakland, Black/African American young men graduating from any high school in the 9 Bay Area counties (Alameda, San Francisco, West Contra Costa, Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, San Mateo, Santa Clara) and continuing undergraduate college students who previously received an MFEI award. Completing this application places students in the pool for all 15+ MFEI awards for which a student is eligible. These awards may include, but are not limited to, the College Bound Brotherhood, all Port of Oakland awards, Clorox Partners Awards, the Making A-G Real Scholarship, the Oakland Education Association Awards and many others.
