Tobacco Free North Dakota (TFND) is excited to announce the return of the annual Video Essay Scholarship Contest exclusively for North Dakota high school seniors. As a statewide nonprofit organization, TFND is dedicated to advocating for policies that prevent youth initiation to tobacco and nicotine products, with the ultimate goal of creating North Dakota’s first tobacco-free generation. This scholarship contest serves as a platform to inspire youth education, advocacy, and provides TFND an opportunity to recognize and reward the outstanding efforts of North Dakota's youth.
Scholarship Details:
- Encourage North Dakota high school seniors to engage in youth education and advocacy.
- Provide a platform for creative expression and thoughtful exploration of tobacco-related issues.
- Recognize and reward the efforts of participants in promoting a tobacco-free future.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to North Dakota high school seniors.
- Applicants must create a 1–3 minute YouTube video on one of the provided Tobacco Free ND topics.
Application Process:
- Create a compelling video based on one of the specified topics.
- Email your video entry, accompanied by all completed forms, to the provided email address before the deadline of 11:59 pm on the specified due date.
