I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at Sam Houston State University, this scholarship will help me pay for college and not be in so much debt. This also benefits my family as well because I have three brothers that will need to go to college and would help my parents to save up for them. I am the first to actually graduate from college and this would help my out so much.

We honor those who lost their lives in the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, as well as the first responders who gave their lives rescuing survivors, and the passengers of Flight 93 who thwarted the hijacker’s plans. The events of September 11, 2001 touched the lives of all Americans and redefined a generation. Now, even in the midst of another national crisis, we feel it is appropriate to take the time to remember this tragedy. [...]
