Scholarship Description

Inquire Higher is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the success of Black students and professionals through multimedia and community support. It will award The Black Student Success Scholarship to two students: 1) one high school senior who plans to enter college or trade school in Fall and 2) a current undergraduate or trade school student who expects to graduate in Fall or later.

Each scholarship amount is $1,500 and includes access to college success mentorship and career guidance resources from Inquire Higher. We understand that every dollar counts, and want to provide a student with the opportunity to create one less worry as they begin their college or career journey.

Applicants must: Currently hold a 2.75 unweighted, cumulative GPA or higher; be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of submitting the application; be planning to attend or currently attends a U.S., two or four-year college/university or trade school; have an anticipated graduation date of Fall of the year of your scholarship application or later; be of Black or African American descent; be able to demonstrate leadership and community service involvement; and be able demonstrate financial need.
