Joon is a teletherapy company dedicated to teenagers and young adults. We blend one-on-one therapy sessions with a mobile app experience. Our approach is rooted in evidence, tailored to individual needs, and emphasizes skill development.
Why We Offer This Scholarship:
The shortage of mental health professionals is a pressing concern. We acknowledge this gap, given the overwhelming demand for mental health care. To address these challenges, we seek to empower bright minds to contribute. While this scholarship can't solve the issue entirely, we aim to support at least one student pursuing a career in mental health care.
• Must be a legal U.S. resident
• Age 18 or older at the time of submission
• High school senior, undergraduate, or master's level student
Submit a 500-word or less essay by November 10th, 2022, here. Only one entry per applicant will be reviewed.
Discuss how technology can both enhance and hinder mental health. What concrete steps can we take to ensure technology consistently improves mental health care and access? How will technology shape the future of mental health care?
Essays will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, passion for the topic, and clarity of ideas.
The Joon Care Scholarship Fund recipient will be awarded $2,000 for higher education. The winning essay will be featured on Joon Care's Blog.
