Scholarship Description
KYTESOL (Kentucky Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) offers a scholarship to an ESL/LEP student graduating from a Kentucky high school based on the availability of funding. Eligible applicants must be a Kentucky high school senior, be an ESL/LEP student with a native language other than English (and have been enrolled in ESL class during middle or high school years), have a 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and plan on attending a two- or four-year post-secondary institution (college, university, vocational or technical school) in Kentucky. Recipients are notified in May.
