  • Due To the generosity of our CAP membership, CAP is able to offer flight scholarships to help cadets attain a private pilot's license. In order to apply, you must be a current female CAP cadet; must have earned the Wright Brothers Award (does not require the Billy Mitchell Award); you must be at least 15 years old by June 1 and you will be required to obtain a Third Class Medical Certificate to receive a flight scholarship, however, you are not required to have one at the time that you apply. This scholarship can be used for local flight training at an FBO, training on CAP aircraft with a CAP instructor or at a flight academy.
