The Harold Bettinger Scholarship is intended for horticulture students, sophomore through graduate levels, who have a major or minor in business and/or marketing with the intent to apply their education to a horticulture-related career business. To be eligible for the Harold Bettinger Scholarship, applicants must: have a 2.0 GPA; and be a citizen or resident of the US or Canada, or be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the US or Canada.
Besides completing the online application, applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation (preferably one from a teacher and one from an employer), a resume and transcripts from their most recent school.
