The primary purpose of the HHCA is to protect and enhance the quality of life in Hollywood Hills by: building the interest of residents for the welfare of the neighborhood; supporting the improvement of the neighborhood; creating awareness of issues that affect all residents of the neighborhood; encouraging participation of residents in neighborhood gatherings and initiatives; and representing the neighborhood and its residents. Yearly, the Hollywood Hills Civic Association awards $500.00 scholarships to deserving High School Seniors at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School, South Broward High School and Hollywood Hills High School. The criteria for this scholarship include a 2.5 GPA or higher, 100+ Community Service Hours, Good Citizenship, and to live within the boundaries of the Hollywood Hills Civic Association. Boundaries are from Sheridan Street (North) to Park Rd (East) to Washington Street (South) and to 56th Avenue (West).
