Every year, the San Diego Chinese Women’s Association awards scholarships to selected outstanding students of Chinese descent who are currently attending high school in San Diego County.
Scholarship Details
- Open to students of at least one-quarter Chinese descent
- Awards are $2,000 (four-year university) and $1,500 (two-year college or vocational school)
- Available to students graduating high school in the current year and attending college in the fall
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior in San Diego County
- Must be at least one-quarter Chinese descent
- Minimum GPA requirement: 3.0 (weighted)
- Scholarships awarded based on funding availability and applicant merit
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility based on descent, residency, and academic standing
- Complete the official scholarship application form
- Submit an official transcript verifying GPA
- Provide any required supporting materials
- Ensure all application materials are submitted by the specified deadline
