The Annual Colorado State Fair Fiesta Queen Pageant selects an ambassador to represent the diverse Hispanic community and culture for the Colorado State Fair and provides scholarships to select highly qualified young women who will act as the Colorado State Fair Fiesta Queen and her Court.
Applicants must not be married (which includes common law), divorced, and/or have had an annulment. Applicants may not have or be expecting a child and must be of Hispanic/Latinx/Chicanx descent, between the ages of 18 and 22, having reached the age of 18 and not older than the age of 22 as of the specified date of the year the scholarship is to be awarded. Applicants must be a United States citizen (or an eligible non-citizen) and a Colorado resident for at least six (6) months prior to application deadline and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 upon applying
Applicants are required to submit a complete Fiesta Pageant application, a current and official high school or college transcript, a resume detailing your personal and professional attributes, and a minimum of two (2) signed letters of recommendation and must be enrolled/accepted to and attend an institution of higher learning for the coming academic year.
