McDonald's is giving away scholarships worth up to $100,000 to as many as 30 students with at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. Check out the requirements below to find out if the McDonald’s® HACER® National Scholarship is right for you: Applicants must be a high school senior, legal U.S. resident who is younger than 21 years old. You must carry a minimum 2.8 GPA, be eligible to attend a two- or four-year college or university with a full-time course of study and you must disclose other scholarship programs that you’ve applied for.
Applicants must enroll and attend an accredited institution in the academic year after your selection (verification needed, as scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools) and must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. Scholarship winners are selected, based on academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and personal qualities and strengths as portrayed in a personal interview, either in-person or by phone.
