  • Scholarship Description
  • The Los Angeles Film Critics Association $500 scholarship is for an aspiring female film critic who is a student at a Los Angeles-area community college. We encourage women of color to apply. Applicants should email a cover letter including a description of their experience and/or aspirations in film criticism along with three writing samples. The recipient will receive a $500 award, as well as an invitation for her and a guest to attend LAFCA’s annual awards dinner held at the InterContinental hotel in Century City, California, on January 13th.
