  • Scholarship Description
  • ReWritten exists to provide guidance and support to fatherless and underserved youth. We believe that no young person should have to grow-up without a father and carry the burden of his absence alone.

ReWritten’s faith-based, Christ-centered worldview is at the core of who we are and what we do. We believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ and its power to transform lives through a personal relationship with Him. It is this foundational belief that informs our desire to provide practical help to fatherless and underserved young men and women.

Thus, ReWritten seeks to create a network of support around each participant to help ensure success in the areas of education, workforce and interpersonal development. This is because we believe that participation in the Christian life extends to every part of life, including one’s calling and vocation in the world and in the local church.

Applicants must be a high school senior or recent high school graduate (within 3 years) who come from a fatherless home and underserved community. Must have a plan to pursue higher education at either a college, trade school, or apprenticeship and be facing a financial hardship in pursuing these goals. Applicants should be prepared to communicate this plan clearly in writing, as part of their personal statement, and verbally, should an interview be necessary. ReWritten will be considering requests for support in the range of $500 up to $5,000 for the school year.

Must be a citizen of the U.S. or a lawful permanent resident; Must submit a thoroughly completed application; Participation in free mentoring e-workshops (Note: Additional workshop information will be sent to applicants after completed application has been submitted); A plan to attend an approved college, trade school, or apprenticeship program; A demonstrated need for financial assistance; A high school senior or recent high school graduate (within 3 years) and enrolled in a higher education/career institution. Must attend a junior college or a college/university within the United States. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
