The Unitil Scholarship Fund will be awarded to six high school seniors from our service territories in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts who are pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or math will each receive $5,000 for the first year of undergraduate study. Applicants will be judged on basis of academic merit, financial need, other scholarships awarded, outside student activities and other relevant factors such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year.
The Unitil Scholarship Committee will base its decision for awarding scholarships on a combination of factors including academic merit, financial need, other scholarships awarded, outside student activities and other relevant factors such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year. Unitil has a long-standing corporate commitment to serve the towns and cities we work in to help improve the overall quality of life. We give back in a variety of ways including, but not limited to donations, sponsorships, scholarships, and volunteerism.
