Duke is proud to offer merit scholarships to incoming first-year students. These scholarships cover the cost of tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board for four years of full-time undergraduate studies. There is not a separate application for these scholarships. Those applying to Duke as incoming first-year students are automatically considered. Together with peers in the Trinity Scholars Program, Alumni Scholars have access to mentoring from faculty, staff, and fellow scholars.
The Duke University Trinity Program offers scholarships that recognize students with outstanding academic achievement from various areas of North and South Carolina. The Trinity Scholars Program provides eight semesters of full tuition, room and board at Duke University. Scholars also have access to generous enrichment funding for domestic and international summer experiences, including opportunities for independent research both in the summer and during the academic year. The total number of awards will vary.
