Scholarships are merit-based, competitive and a limited number are available. To be considered you must meet the criteria for consideration, be admitted by the Application Deadline and complete any application materials noted. Scholarships consider your unweighted cumulative GPA and are renewable for 4 years.
The Western Undergrauate Exchange (WUE) is a merit based scholarship for incoming freshmen who are non-resident applicants to the University of New Mexico. Applicants must be from eligible jurisdictions. Applicants must have a 2.8 GPA. This is renewable upon the completion of 15 credits and a 2.5 GPA. Although there's no official application deadline, applicants have a greater consideration if they apply by February 1 for the Fall semester or October 1 for the Spring semester.
