  • The Second Chance College Scholarships Contest is open to citizens and aliens legally residing in the USA with high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Scholarship entries are only accepted online through the AFSA scholarship web site.
    ADVERTISEMENT
    Entrants must submit a completed entry form with all required information. Before college scholarship funds will be awarded, all information submitted on the entry form by the entrant will be verified. If any false or misleading information is submitted on the entry form, the student will be disqualified without notification to the entrant. This scholarship was really easy, and left me more time to work on other things that needed done for graduation and end of the year plans.

I was afraid it would be boring to take a test over fire sprinklers it was interesting. I enjoyed the material and you should read it even if you don't fill out the scholarship.

Easy entry. I was able to learn some cool facts about sprinkler systems and some myths I knew were dispelled.

I think this is a great idea for a scholarship opportunity as it is a 'win-win' for everyone. I learned some things I did not know that will be beneficial when living in a college dorm and later on, working in an office building environment.

I applied, because it looked easy. Retaining information is one of my strong suits...we'll find out if I win. Since it's a drawing, Mom's not as fond of the idea as I am, but I figured if I don't apply I don't have a chance. This way I have a shot at the money, so why not? Nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

My parents are both volunteer firefighters and I have heard stories first hand of fire tragedy. I see where fire sprinkler system can be a big help in saving lives and property.
