Scholarship Description

Colorado Mountain College wants you to reach your goals. So we’re offering the $1000 President’s Scholarship to help you get there. It is preferred that students apply to Colorado Mountain College online. There are no special admissions requirements with this scholarship, as we are open enrollment and the regular admissions requirements apply. Applicants of the President's Scholarship must be enrolled as full-time students, as well as maintaining a 2.0 GPA at the end of their first semester.

To be eligible for the CMC President's Scholarship, you must: be a new student to CMC and be a graduate of a high school in the CMC District or a GED graduate living within the CMC District (recent graduates of Buena Vista High School and Middle Park High School are also eligible); complete a CMC application and FAFSA2 by the due date (use CMC's school code: 004506. Deadline for GED completers is August 1); and students ineligible to complete the FAFSA, that do not have lawful immigration status, must complete the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) by the due date (use CMC's school code: 004506. By submitting the CASFA, if eligible, students may be considered for state financial aid and other scholarships.)
