• The American Legion, Department of Michigan provides opportunities for high school students to apply for scholarships or prize money for college through the programs we offer. Awards vary by program and qualifications. The American Legion is offering scholarships to be awarded in the upcoming spring. Selections are based upon academic performance, leadership quality, and basis of need.

  The Guy M. Wilson Scholarship is exclusively for graduates of Michigan high schools who are either sons, daughters, grandsons or granddaughters of a honorable war-time veteran, who are attending high school and plan to attend an accredited Michigan college or university. Selection is based on a student’s G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher, financial need and the applicant's goals and intentions. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
