To qualify for the NWPCU Scholarship, applicants must: be a primary member at NWPCU for at least one year; and be a graduating senior or current college student with a GPA of 2.5 and enrolled in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States. Students will be judged based on a written essay, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, financial need and community service.
In addition to completing the application, applicants must also submit: a written essay, of at least 500 words, typed and double-spaced on an assigned topic; at least two letters of recommendation from their teacher, volunteer instructor, employer and/or coach; official sealed transcripts; and a note of acceptance to their chosen post-secondary school. Official family and employees of NWPCU and their families (parents, children, siblings, and spouses) are not eligible to receive a scholarship.
