My name is Yasmin Abdurahman and I want to be able to help support the kids who are mentally struggling with working from home. School can already be stressful enough but when you add that to a chaotic household and work your stress levels probably would be going through the roof. Some schools are understanding which is amazing but they aren’t actually helping. When you try and contact councilors, your messages go unanswered and your left to be looking at a screen that your staring at 7 hours a day. We need to create a virtual safe space for kids to tell others what’s going on and how they’re feeling. Administration should then see all of their students feedback on whats going on and should at least lower the work load on students to give them ease. Schools should be more open on mental issues and that students need breaks.
