• Mr. Paul F. Brown loved music. He showed his love by supporting local music organizations such as the Baton Rouge Opera, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and the LSU School of Music. The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who demonstrate a love for music. The Paul F. Brown Scholarship is to awarded to an incoming freshman accepted to the Louisiana State University School of Music as a full-time student. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and be a resident of Louisiana. The award is a one-year scholarship, payable $1,500 per semester (fall and spring only) for two consecutive semesters, for a total award of $3,000.
