Scholarship Description

The Jewish War Veterans of the USA sponsors the annual National Achievement Program, an essay contest designed to support veterans and active duty service members pursuing undergraduate education. This program provides multiple grants each year to assist veterans in furthering their academic and career goals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a veteran or active duty service member
  • Must be enrolled or accepted into a undergraduate degree program
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States
  • Must provide proof of honorable military service (DD-214, military ID card, etc.)

Application Process

  1. Complete the scholarship application
  2. Submit the following required documents:
    • Most recent transcript (high school or college)
    • Copy of college acceptance letter
    • Proof of honorable military service (DD-214, military ID, etc.)
    • A 400-500 word essay explaining how military experience has influenced career goals, including basic applicant information
  3. Submit all application materials before the deadline
