SRK Consulting's graduate scholarship programs aim to encourage and support students undertaking graduate studies and help them complete master’s and doctoral degrees in fields related to the mining industry. To be eligible, you must be permitted to study in the United States or Canada, have an appropriate undergraduate qualification, and provide proof of enrollment in a mining-related MSc or PhD program at a North American university or college. Your application will be assessed in terms of academic achievement, prior industry experience (if applicable) and the relevance of studies to the mining industry.
Your application package must include: a brief resume, including any work experience details; current academic transcripts and proof of enrollment in a North American university or college for the upcoming academic year; a written recommendation by a university or industry reference with contact details; and a statement (500-word maximum) indicating: the topic and summary of the intended graduate research; applicability of the research to the mining industry; perceived benefits to be obtained from the scholarship; genuine desire to work in the mining and mineral resources industry; any other awards or scholarships received; and any additional information considered relevant.
