Select need-based scholarships are awarded to Alabama residents and are renewable for four years. First-year students must enroll summer or fall immediately following high school graduation to receive consideration. Consideration is based on financial need and high school GPA. For students who apply for admission as test optional, the academic assessment during the evaluation for admission is also considered. A minimum 3.0 high school GPA is required for consideration.
