Scholarship Description

With a combination of strong academics and affordability, the University of Nebraska is one of just 20 public universities to receive a “Best Buy” designation by the Fiske Guide to Colleges. And with among the lowest tuition in the Big Ten, 65% of first-year students receive institutional grants or scholarships. Nebraska strives to make college affordable for all families. We offer among the lowest tuition in the Big Ten, and our students who take out loans typically borrow $6,000 less than the national average.

We all need help creating our stories, and sometimes that means financial help. The CoJMC is fortunate that many alumni and friends have provided scholarships, allowing the college to award more than $255,599 in scholarships annually. The Robert & Todd Storz Broadcast Scholarship is awarded to outstanding first-year college students who major in broadcasting and demonstrate a potential for future academic success. This scholarship can be combined with other campus-wide scholarships and is renewable. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider’s website.
