The Vermont Police Association created this scholarship for Vermont students seeking a degree in law enforcement. Eligible applicants must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding (Pell Grants, Stafford loans, PLUS loans), as well as demonstrate financial aid. Recipients are notified by May 1. The type of school you will attend (accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding) This scholarship may require a specific major or field of study (engineering/technology, social work). Applicants may need to be from a certain town or county of residence (Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, etc.). Applicants may need to demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, community service, etc.
Instructions for renewal will be included in the letter notifying you of the award. The number of scholarships available and the possible dollar amount awarded. The documents and criteria the selection committee will consider when choosing the best candidate for the scholarship. The estimated number of applicants and scholarships awarded are based on prior years. Applications run from October until the due date.
