When 49 lives were taken, 49 legacies began. Our mission is to create academic opportunities – honoring the aspirations of all 49 Angels – to recipients who embody love, hope, unity, courage and unconditional acceptance. Legacy Scholarship Recipients are ambassadors of the 49 Angels and the onePULSE Foundation. Applications are open to any person - no matter age, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability or faith. onePULSE Foundation considers many factors when assessing scholarship applicants, including: Personal story; Financial need; A proven track record of leadership, community involvement and/or work experience; Working for the betterment of the community; and Strong academic or self-improvement interest.
Preference will be given to applicants who are family members of a Pulse Angel and those who are survivors of and first responders to the Pulse tragedy. Each scholarship will be for up to $10,000 for use at an accredited institution of higher learning, including career and technical schools.
