The Soenga Scholars Fund provides resources and much needed assistance to teen mothers through scholarship, mentorship & partnership. Soenga Scholars is focused on changing the status quo. We're an organization that addresses the needs of teen mothers who want to be more than a statistic in our communities. We are purposed and dedicated to assisting teen mothers reach their full potential. We will provide guidance, support and mentorship in times of need.
Soenga Scholars will provide more than financial support to young women; we will be recognized as a place of peace, center for growth and a beacon of light. Soenga Scholars believes firmly in the confluence of scholarship, mentorship & partnership. We believe education for teen mothers is more than a privilege. Though circumstances may not be ideal, many teen mothers have the desire to move forward with education. The challenge in most cases are resources to do so. Our goal is to assist teen mothers with tuition, housing and additional resources to successfully earn degrees and vocational certifications to be career ready.
