Greetings! I'm a college student here in the Philippines, I'm Caraga State University , I am applying for this scholarship to less the expenses and to help my family also. I'm from a poor family that's why I grab this opportunity to join this, to less all of my expenses, and many finances related to my studying . I hope someone will help me and give me a chance to grant me an scholarship to help my family. I promise that I will do my best to graduate to the course I take right now and I will be grateful to any help you will offer to me. Thank you very much.

I like to apply a scholarship for me to reach college

Maylin Reyes  on 11/6/2020 2:11:15 PM

My name is Maylin Reyes, I am currently 17, bisexual, and a Senior. I am Mexican-Filipino Student at Vallejo High in Vallejo CA. I am a well season athlete as I participate in various martial arts as I currently hold a State and National title in Judo, as well as a Bronze Medalist in the Junior Olympics. I am also a State Qualifier in the NCS/OS Section in Wrestling. I've been training all my life and it made me opportunities that I would never imagine that would happen to me. Although I am an athlete, it doesn't mean that I'm not a student neither. I currently hold a 4.0GPA through independent studies and I've been holding my GPA since I transferred. I've been through various struggles in my life, one of them which had caused me to lose my vision and resulting in a detached retina. I underwent 3 surgeries which took a toll on me mentally, physically, and academically. I missed most of my sophomore year and even my wrestling season. But never has it made it to where I would give up on my career altogether, after I transferred to Vallejo high I had maintained a 4.0 GPA, I Made a comeback in my wrestling career being the only girl in varsity and captain. I made it all the way to state and even started to get college recognization. The reason why I'm Applying for this scholarship is to help me achieve more of my goals and to make a bigger name for myself and be the first person in my family to graduate College. I was never a big name, live a lavish life, had the training facility, I worked for everything that I have now. And with this scholarship helping me out, then it'll be one step easier into achieving my goal and my lifelong dream.

One university has announced a unique remedy for this technical situation. [...]
