• Scholarship Description
• The OPRA Foundation annually awards continuing education scholarships to students and professionals who exemplify the future of our profession and wish to further their education in the field of parks, recreation, and leisure studies. The scholarship may be broken into two categories; conference fees and lodging. The primary use of this scholarship is for attendance to the OPRA Conference & Trade Show.

  Must be an Ohio resident; and/or have a declared major in a relevant degree program at a college or university in Ohio; and/or must be employed in Ohio by a parks and recreation agency or related field. If you receive a scholarship, you will be required to volunteer for the Foundation at Conference. Volunteer opportunities include working at the Silent Auction or selling raffle tickets and/or games.
