The IFA Foundation and the Fred DeLuca Foundation have partnered to sponsor this educational scholarship. Created in memory of the co-founder of Subway, the competitive one-time scholarship award will provide financial assistance to students with studies in business/entrepreneurship or franchise management. Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S. In addition to the one-time competitive scholarship, the recipients will receive a complimentary registration to attend IFA’s Annual Convention and will receive a travel stipend (up to $1500) to attend.
Applicants must submit a franchising business plan up to 10 pages with their scholarship application and must be U.S. Citizens enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S. Preference is given to individuals that have competed in the Franchising/Entrepreneurship competition sponsored by DECA within the last two years. Submit a copy of the franchising business plan - up to 10 pages. The completed package must be received by the specified due date.
