The reason why I have applied for this scholarship is due to my parents dealing with finance. Being one who has the desire to pursue a career in nursing. Coming from a low income family and if I receive this, it will allow me to boost my motivation in studying. This will greatly help me little by little.

I applied to this scholarship because my parents do not have a lot of money. I need to go to college to achieve a better and more secure future yet I currently do not have the funds for it. My mother just lost her job therefore we are living purely off of my dad's income. I have picked up a job working 30+ hours a week to help my parents out financially but it still is not enough. If I win this scholarship then it will take a lot of pressure and stress off myself and my family.

I am applying for this scholarship because school is going to be tough. I have to pay all the money upfront which is very hard right now in a pandemic. I have been trying to save up but, I can only save up as a 17-year-old. I don't have a job currently because I am trying to focus on highschool. My senior year has been different but easily as difficult. I cannot qualify for financial aid which is very upsetting

I think I should be awarded this scholarship because it would greatly help me in my academic pursuits. I have big dreams for a career in a field I enjoy, and to achieve those dreams, I need to earn a college degree. This scholarship would help me on that journey towards that career. I want to become an author and write books that inspire people, just like I have been inspired. And for that I need to earn an English degree in the college of my choice. The aid from this scholarship would fund my learning experience in that college.

I had applied to this scholarship because I myself is a struggling student when it comes to financial aid. Currently my account is on hold for next semester due to that reason, but my grades for the semester are not the thing holding me back. But when I win the scholarship the money will go straight to this semester's money and up and coming amount.
