The goals of the Apprentice Ecologist Initiative are to elevate youth into leadership roles by engaging them in environmental cleanup and conservation projects, empower young people to rebuild the environmental and social well-being of our communities and improve local living conditions for both citizens and wildlife through education, activism, and action.

Applicants must conduct their own environmental stewardship project: Take a few digital photos of your project in action. Write an essay about your project and what it meant to you and register at the scholarship provider's website and upload your favorite project photo along with your essay.

I’ve never been accepted, and my teachers suggested I do one, because my writing is amazing. They admire the fact that I adore Poetry and English.

I come from a family who lived their whole life as farmers. This climate change had a huge effect on them. I love being able to help and spread the word about how one can change their habits in order to make the world a better, healthier, cleaner, place to live in.

I come from a humble background, but I do not use my past as an excuse for what I will be capable of in the future. I have big dreams to create technology that will help and inspire the world. With all these great ideas, I just need financial aid to put my dreams into practice and begin to contribute my wondrous ideas to the world. Thank you for listening.
