Good Evening, My name is Jakeyva Dodson I am an undergraduate attending Albany State University majoring in Health Science. I am a first generation college student and earning this scholarship would be very helpful and would relieve stress. College is stressful enough and struggling financially can make things worse, but If I am awarded this scholarship it would be very helpful. I can get through with the strong mentality and determination to change things for the up coming generations.

Good morning, I'm currently a freshman at Spelman College and I'd love to apply for this scholarship. College is very expensive and I'm so thankful for organizations like you who give us a chance to win money for college. Coming from a public high school where education is completely free, and transitioning to a private college is tough. I'd appreciate this scholarship so much for various reasons A) Spelman is 50k a year, but IT IS WORTH IT, B) I'm a first generation college student and my mom is putting me through college alone and C) This money would be a huge weight off mine and my mom's shoulders. Thank you so much for this opportunity, I hope I'm considered.

I would like to apply for this scholarship because I am no longer a HOPE recipient. The reasoning for this is because I graduated high school longer then seven years ago. I have been a full time employee as well as a full time college student working towards my pre-requites classes for the AU Dental Hygiene program.

I would like my scholarship paid because it has always been my dream to go to Spelman College and major in political science. I would then like to go to Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. I know that the cost is very expensive that is why I would be more than appreciative to get this scholarship.

I need this scholarship because of not being able to pay for all of college. I am going to be the first in my family to graduate college and I would like to do it with little to no debt.

I had to take a leave of absence from Strayer University to help take care of my dad. I received my Associates Degree in Business Administration. I have 8 classes left to completed for my Bachelor's Degree in Health Services . I do not have enough money to complete my classes. I left as a honor students with a 3.5 average. I would be the first in my family to finish college. My daughter is a college student and I would like to show my daughter at the age of 53, you can succeed at anything you want to do in life. I would like to give back to my community to help other kids to succeed.

I would like to apply for this scholarship because between working and going to school full time my grades dropped. This has caused me to lose my hope scholarship. I only have one more year until I graduate and this scholarship would help make that happen.
