Greetings! I am very interested in applying for this scholarship. I am a 2nd year college student. I already have my pilot license this scholarship will help me to continue on the path to becoming a successful student with a career in aviation.

I am applying for this scholarship because I am only 25 hours away from my IFR and Commericial but have lost my job as a result of this pandemic and gone through my savings to get this far. If I dont find funding I will not be able to finish what Ive worked hard for. I'm 27 and have earned my B.S. in computer science and my private pilot's license and did this while helping support my disabled mother and twin brother (who recently passed). I am not a quitter but am challenged financially right now. I do not normally accept charity but I really want this. If anyone out there reads this, please consider donating directly to my flight school (Alpine Aviation in Grass Valley, CA) for my (Michael Reisenweber's) account. Im about $7500 short.
