Unfortunately, college in America is very expensive and I know my parents are worried on how they wil be able to pay for both my brother and I's tuitions. This is a great oppurtunity and any amount of money is a huge help.

I am applying for this scholarship to help out pay for my college due to my dad not having the money to help pay for college. He recently lost his job due to an disability in his back. Winning this scholarship would mean the world to me and help me make my dad and family proud

College in America is so expensive and I feel I may not be able to go to my school of my dreams and get my degree simply because I cant afford it. Id like to hope and pray I win one of the contest, but If I dont then I cant be mad at anyone.

Many claim that money is an obstacle into getting into college, so they fear overcoming their goals. Even if I don't win, I would like to encourage all of you to keep your head up high through thick and thin.
