The State of Georgia has several financial assistance programs available to Georgia residents. A student must meet state eligibility requirements to receive state aid.
HOPE is a merit-based scholarship program available to students who have met the University System of Georgia and the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) residency requirements and are enrolled in an undergraduate degree seeking program. If you are a Georgia resident enrolling in a degree program at KSU, you may be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship. Recipients must demonstrate academic achievement to be considered for the HOPE Scholarship. To be eligible, applicants must: complete a FAFSA or GSFAPPS; be a US citizen or permanent resident; and, have a 3.0 GPA. This is renewable upon a 3.0 GPA.
