Is this scholarship only for the children of Marines who have served? Or is it for Veterans too?

Im a Marine Corps Infantry combat vet applying for this scholarship so i can further pursue my passion for medicine. The funds i could be awarded can help pay for the rest of my tuition and some living costs as i work to completing my undergraduate degree and apply for Physician Assistant school. The reason for the tuition help is im trying to save the remaining GI bill for PA school which is far more expensive. Thank you for your time and consideration

My father is a Marine who was honorably discharged, my brother is a Marine working in the aviation reserves currently, and I am a Marine Corps Officer Candidate. I'm attending National University and paying for my university myself. The only way for me to stay on the board as a candidate is if I am currently enrolled in college. I am majoring in Science of Public Health and Administration. Even though I can pay for this terms classes and supplies its just good to have a small amount saved for back up.

To whom this may concern, I am a USMC veteran who was discharged honorably with electrical/mechanical knowledge looking to further my education and attempting to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Getting any sort of help would greatly increase my chance in achieving my goal to be the best version of myself. Thank you for your time and consideration.
