This scholarship would mean the world to me. My family doesn't earn much income as my father is a retired law enforcement, my mother doesn't make much from her job in Walmart, and my brother and I are currently unemployed. To top it all, my family is on the verge of losing our house this upcoming summer if we cannot get at least three thousand dollars by then. $500 is a start and I would be eternally grateful.
